Frans Lanting, Dutch-born photographer has been known to be "One of the most accomplished wildlife photograpers of our time". Frans captures images of wildlife from elephants and lions to albatrosses and penguins. His pictures have been credited with focusing on enviromental issues sometimes even spurring government and nongovernmental groups to act upon them. Frans photos are regularly published in National Geographic but has also been featured in Outdoor Photographer, Audubon, Life, and other magazines. Frans, currently living in California operates a studio and gallery as well as stock photography services.
Frans has worked in many different parts of the world including Africa, Amazonia, and Antartica.
